About

My name is Valentin Shuraev. I was born in Moscow in 1983. Today I live and work in Georgia.

I'm an IT professional with over 20 years of experience in infrastructure management, DevOps practices, and cloud architecture. Over the course of my career, I've built, maintained, and modernized systems across a wide range of industries and scales — from small startups to large enterprise environments.

What I Do

I help businesses build reliable, scalable, and maintainable IT infrastructure. My work covers three core areas:

Infrastructure Management — designing, provisioning, and maintaining servers and networks. I focus on systems that are secure, observable, and easy to operate. This includes configuration management, monitoring, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning.

DevOps Culture & Practices — I believe DevOps is a culture, not a toolset. I help teams adopt modern engineering workflows: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and release management. The goal is always to leave teams more capable and autonomous.

Cloud Architecture — planning and executing cloud migrations, designing multi-cloud and hybrid architectures, optimizing costs, and building for high availability. I work with the major cloud providers but always recommend what fits the business, not what's trending.

My Approach

I'm pragmatic. I focus on solutions that match your scale, team, and budget. I don't sell hype — I solve problems. Whether it's your first CI/CD pipeline or a full infrastructure overhaul, I bring hands-on experience and clear communication to every engagement.

My goal is simple: build systems that work, and make sure your team understands how to keep them running.
